Luísa Aleixo
Algarvian artist, born in 1962 and initiated gouache painting from 1981 to 1987, but then moved and evolved to oil painting, a technique that she has been using to this day.
Her themes reflect a particular interpretation of architecture, including blocks of colour and well defined lines, charming and clean, reminding us of our cultural inheritance that we ought to preserve at all cost.
Since 1979, she has exhibited regularly alongside her husband, Virgílio Raposo.
